Here is the complete plot of the RP. Feel free to PM with any suggestions.
Deep in the Sierra mountains roam several packs of wolves. Rumor among the packs say that several hundred years ago a mystical wolf named Jachin was mysteriously born with the power to control the element of earth. When he was a young pup he knew he was different from the rest of the wolves and got angry. He didn't understand why each time he made a deliberate move the ground around him would change. Sometimes for the good and sometimes for the bad. He couldn't figure out how to control it. He hated being different. The other pups made fun of him because he was different. No one in the history of wolves had blue tipped ears and was able to control the earth. He got in a fight one day with one of his peers that was bullying him and ended up banned from the pack. He then took to the deep mountainsides and wide beautiful valley’s of the Sierras. He was able to locate a pack there that accepted his differences and elected him leader. He remained leader there until the day he died. Since then several packs of his descendants have roamed the Sierra mountains. Calling it home.
These are not normal wolves they are nature wolves. These wolves can control one of many elements, the four stems being Water, Fire, Earth, or Air. Any nature wolf that has a power, its power must then stem from one of the 4 main sources. These wolves live life as any other wolf only they have the ability to choose what they want their element to appear as. They each are assigned a mentor when their powers start to come in that teaches them about their element. This mentor has the same elemental power.
Their powers can come in at any age. But is most common around age 2 when the pups start leaving the den. It is rare but possible for a nature wolf to be born with a power. These wolves are special wolves and are treated well by the rest of the pack. They are not the leaders of the pack but are considered outstanding members. The ratio of a pup born with their powers and a wolf growing up into their powers is 1 to 25 pups. So for every 25 pups one of them might possibly be born with their powers. It is common for young pups born without powers to want their powers. They may even go as far as to search for their powers by becoming immersed in water and then trying to control it, or going near a campfire and trying to control it, or even becoming involved with mentors in the pack but these efforts are in vain. Powers tend to show up when they are least expected.
Some of these nature wolves can in fact be able to control all four elements. Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. These special wolves are often more comfortable with one element over the other three. These wolves often end up leaders in the pack or mentors because they can control all four of the elements. Some nature wolves never get powers but are colored like nature wolves so they are allowed to remain in the pack. These wolves are protected well by the other members of the pack as they are considered defenseless without a power.
Nature wolves have special coloring's The tips of their ears are often colored a odd shade. Such as blue, green, red, etc. They may or may not have uniquely colored fur. Some of the unique furs include Albino, pale blue, russet, or a deep fiery red. They may or may not have uniquely colored eyes. Common eye colors among Nature wolves are brown, blue, white, green, orange, red, amber, and silver.
When nature wolves reach adulthood if they have a power they often have a symbol that has grown into their fur. It can be located anywhere. It is very rare but possible for a nature wolf to be born with a symbol. And it is also extremely rare but possible for a nature wolf to have a symbol that does not match their element. These symbols are a range of colors and shapes and can include almost anything associated with the element they control. Nature wolves can have other odd coloring's in their fur such as dorsal stripes, stripes down their sides, patches of color, or stockings. These coloring's are often oddly colored. Such as a shade of purple, or green, or blue, or orange.
Each member of each pack is required to work for their keep. The only wolves who do not have to hunt and help work within the pack are the senior citizens who have worked hard all of their lives. These wolves are allowed to rest in peace while the others go off and hunt. If a member of the pack does not work for its keep it is kicked out or banned from the pack and most of the time either dies or becomes a lone wolf. Sometimes these wolves are able to shape up their act and join another pack but not always.
The nature wolves packs do intermix from time to time. These packs are normally not hostile towards each other but they don’t usually cross onto each others territories. If a member of a pack crosses over onto another packs territory one of three things will happen. They will let him cross in peace if they see he is meaning them no harm, they will recruit him to join their pack, or they will kill him. There are some neutral territories that do not really belong to one pack or another. The wolves that go to this territory do not harm
each other as this land belongs to no one particular pack.
There are some wandering lone nature wolves along the sierra’s. No one is sure where these wolves come from. Some of them have been kicked from packs but most of them are just loners. Maybe they left packs, or maybe they were just never part of them. Sometimes these nature wolves will join a already established pack. These wolves tend to be wilder than the wolves in a established pack. From time to time these lone wolves will gather together other lone wolves and create a new pack. At times established packs will cross over the path of a lone wolf or vice versa these meetings often end in a stand off but no one injured.
Nature wolves interact just like normal wolves. Pups are born regularly.
Wolves mate during the Spring and fall, pups are born during the summer, and winter.
Along these same ridges some packs of normal wolves still roam. These packs hate the nature wolves and at any and every chance will attack.
These wolves sometimes have natural mutations. These mutations never, ever change their method of movement. Some example mutations would be a deer's tail or antlers.
