Crimson's enterance By  Thunder

Crimson crouched low to the ground. She could smell another wolf in her territory. From the scent an unknown male wolf. She softly twitched her tail back and forth waiting patently on the intruder to show himself. She was more concerned with the intruder than the rabbit that was still eating a little way off. An intruder could cost her more than her meal, it could cost her, her life or worse. Just from the scent she couldn't tell if he was a nature wolf, or not. But she didn't smell any other wolves in the area, which lead her to believe that he was probably a lone wolf.


She glanced over at the rabbit whom was still eating patiently, and softly concentrated all of her effort in one place. She softly moved her right leg forward and a little it to the right, c****ing the wind for the scent of the male wolf. She slowly bunched up the muscles along her leg, causing the ground around her to the right to heat up. She couldn't feel a breeze, and unless she was mistaken he was off a little bit to her right. If he were a normal timber wolf that would scare him off, if he were an nature wolf that would warn him to be careful. If he approached carefully she would still have a chance at this rabbit, although she would prefer him stay far behind.

Crimson stared at him, and slowly relaxed the muscles in her leg and moved it back towards her body.
"Its okay, just pay closer attention I am trying to hunt" she growled out paying close attention to the rabbit. she didn't want to loose her chance on this hunt. She knew the male wasn't going to be a threat, and so she needed to catch her next meal if at all possible.

Crimson watched the male carefully. "Its alright" She responded. Then she turned her attention back to the rabbit, she watched as it unsuspectingly moved closer. She slowly moved her body closer to the ground, hoping the male would take the tip and do the same. The rabbit wandered closer and in a blinding flash of movement, her beautiful body gleaming the rabbit became her lunch. She slowly brought it over to where the male was standing. "Here I'll share" She said thoughtfully. It wasn't anything unusual especially if the wolves were two different genders for them not to share meals. But she thought the young male looked as though he could use a good meal, and she wouldn't eat it all at one time anyway, and old meat was disgusting.

Crimson watched him eat, slowly taking a bite out of the rabbits ear. She paused chewing a moment and agreed. "Its okay, I wouldn't have eaten it all at one sitting regardless, you might as well enjoy it alongside me" she told him. Besides he seemed like a really nice wolf. Not to say she wouldn't be careful around him, oh no. She would be extremely careful. Outside wolves, especially one's of the opposite gender, could cause lots of problems with the pack. She watched him a moment thoughtfully. She wondered what pack he might be from, and if he were originally from the area, or only passing through. She considered asking him, but decided it might be best to eat and then ask questions considering that she did't know him very well, and some wolves get severely agitated when they are trying to eat and you talk. She slowly bent her head down, and savored every bite.

Crimson finished up her meal and slowly lifted her nose, sure enough off in the distance a lone deer was padding softly towards them. She thought a moment, and decided she was still a tad bit hungry. "Are you any hand at hunting?" She asked briefly staring him down. If they were to take the deer down, they would have to do it together. From her view point it looked to her as if the doe was inured. That would explain why she wasn't with a herd. She seemed to be headed to the watering hole. The exact place Crimson intended to head, as soon as they were through hunting. She smiled at the young male. "well?" She asked him wandering thoughtfully if she might have missed his response in all her musings.

Crimson starred at him his answer smarting a little bit. "You are aware that some wolves are not good hunters right?" She said smirking in his direction. She had met a few in her time. There were lots of wolves she wouldn't let pay her to take them hunting. They were horrible at hunting. She glanced over towards the doe's direction and sniffed the air. Unconsciously she put her left paw forward, her paw started glowing slightly as the ground around her started heating up. The grass started withering as she turned her attention back to the male. "Yes rush, you lead" She told him quietly observing him.
